THE RIOTS IN BOMBAY.
The Queen has wired to Lord Harris expressing her grief at the riots in Bombay.
Bombay, August 14,
With the exception of the mosques and temples very little damage has been done in the city by the rioters.
EXTENSIVE FIRE.
New York, August 14.
A great fire in Minneapolis destroyed 200 houses and rendered 15C0 people homeless. The damage is estimated at 2,000,000 dollars.
