A Home paper states that the White Star Liner Gothic was launched on June 21st by Messrs Harland and Wolff, Belfast. The vessel which is 490 feet long, and 8000 gross tonnage, will temporarily go on the New York passenger service, but is ultimately intended for the New York trade, in which she will be the largest steamer engaged.
