The Wakatipu arrived this evening with the recruits for the New Zealand football team. They had a good passage and will take part in the Bathurst match on Wednesday. The team returned from Brisbane to-day, and the men all appear in good condition. The following is the Timaru team to play against Waimate on Thursday next; —Full-naok-Burd; three-quarters-Boys (i), and Sbappere; halves— Armitage and Collins | forwards— Austin, Orr, Chisholm, Rutherford, McCullough, Meohen, Whittaker, Coz, and Bonm | emergencies—Bice, Bums, Stone, Truman, and Penrose.
