THIB_I)AY. (Per Electric Telegraph—Cow right.) (Per Press Association.) (Received noon, July 11th.) THE MELBOURNE LOAN. London, July 10. Tenders were opened to-day for the City of Melbourne loan of £450,000 at 4 per cent. The total amount subscribed was £548,000. Tenders at the minimum (£103) get 78 per cent. The average price was only lOd over the minimum. MOUNT MORGAN SHARES. Gibbs’ syndicate has arranged to transfer the Mount Morgan shares to the London register in October. THE WOOL MARKET. The wool market is more animated and biddings aro now nearly equal to May prices. CONDITION OF THE ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH. Rome, July 10. The Pope has summoned the Cardinals and Bishops to meet at Rome next year to consider the condition of the church.
