DUNEDIN. Jan. 23,
In the Supreme Court William Ridley, warehouseman, sues the lien. George Fisher for £2OO fur breach of contract. In August la t Mr Fisher, through the agency of Uaydon, landlord of the Criterion, offered to soli £2OO shares in tho New Zealand Shipping Company at five shillings. r Jhe offer was accepted, though the completion of tho transaction was postponed at Mr Fisher’s request. JJc now declines to complete 'Jhe plaintiff asks the court to ordetho transference of the shares, and failing that, for damages. Defendant denies the authorisation of the sale through Uaydon, though ho admits he sold to him, conditional on tho directors’ acceptance of the transfer, which is withheld.
