The manager of the National Mortgage and Agency Company Limited, of New Zealand, reports on the local grain market as follows j—Shipping wheat is decidedly firmer at 3s Xld to 4s; malting barley quiet at 4s to 4s fid; New Zealand oats, feed sorts, are quieter but steody at 2a lid to 3s, malting descriptions are steady bqt not |n active demand at 2s lid to 3s 2d ; New Zealand oats in bond, 2s Id to 2s <j,d.
