Shipping* Arrived, this morning—Union Company's steamship. Rotorua, from the Bluff. Fire. A destructive fire occurred to-day at Messrs Cappers’ vinegar works, Bitzroy. The damage is estimated at £13,000. Ploughing. The intercolonial ploughing contest was concluded to-day. The first prizes in all classes have been awarded by the Judges to Victorian representatives.
