WASHDYKE CRICKET CLUB.

SECOND EDITION

A general meeting of this club was held at Mcßeth’s Hotel on Wednesday evening, the 12th inst., and was fairly attended, Mr F. Watson occupying the chair. Six new members were elected and the following officers installed for the ensuing season : President, W. Balfour, Esq. ; vice-president, Mr Geo. Andrews ; captain, Mr F. Tansley ; vicecaptain, Mr D. Hennesy ; secretary and treasurer, Mr G. Wilson. It was resolved—“ That the subscription foe of •junior members be fixed at ss.’’ Mr Mcßeth again generously placed his ground at the service of the club. A hearty veto of thanks having been accorded to the chairman, the meeting was brought to a close.
