Warkworth District High School.

Inspection of Important North Auckland Industries.

.The boys attending the secondary department of the W.D.H. School were given a very enjoyable and instructive outing on Saturday last, when they had the opportunity of inspecting the modern methods of kauri-gum digging as carried on at Tomarata. After lunch, they were taken to see the tung oil plantation and the tobacco farm at Te Hana. The excursion was organised by Mr L. J. Verry, and the transport was provided by Messrs L. R. Civil, H. Langridge, J. Morrison, L. J. Verry and Rev. G. M. Yule, who received the grateful thanks of the boys. .
