The Bodney Beturneil Soldiers' Association are holding a reunion on July 11th in Wellsford. These social gatherings are always popular with returned men as they provide the opportunity uf meeting old comrades, especially *o since the Asi-ociatiun decided to hold them in the several centres of" the Pounty Visiting dele gates from other associations will be nresont on thiti occasion. Considerable eithus asm i« being shown by all cx 1 soldiers in that area, and hey are looking forward with keen interest to thm- first district re-union. A strong committee have their arrangements well advanced.
"The Donovan Affair", the first of a series of 20 star talkie attractions which have been secured by the Matakana Picture Company will be screened at Alatakana next Saturday evening. Other talkie features in support, include dramatic comedy, and musical comedy sketches. The full programme should prove an interesting and excellent one.
