RODNEY AGRICULTURAL SOCIETY.

A meetiDg of the General Commit' teo. was held in the Public Library, Warkworth, on Saturday evening last, Mr Harold Edwards, deputy chairman,' presiding over a good attendance of members. The chairman reported that Mr Eobf. Ward bad agreed to lease the smalt portion of the Society's grounds across the main road, and that a satisfactory agreement was being completed. In view of the impending departure from the Dominion of the Governorgeneral, Sir Charles Fergusson, it was resolved that a letter be forwarded to His Excullenoy, thanking him for his generous assistance to the Society, and expi easing regret at his departure. . Five new members, Messrs Rsg. -K. Collins, F. J. Anderson, F., Woodcock, Guy Mauder and J. Clegg, were elected to the General Committee.
