TOILET HINTS
When wiping the face, it should always be rubbed upwards and outwards from the mouth towards the temples, in order to avoid the formation of wrinkles. A mixture of vaseline and almond oil rubbed into the skin thoroughly will greatly help to develop the tissue and make the thin neck look plump. Powdered orris root makes an excellent dry shampoo for the hair; it absorbs the, oil from the hair, and gives it a 'delicate fragrance. It should be rubbed well on the head, and then be brushed out. To bathe the feet with methylated spirits is a most refreshing treatment when they are tired. Camphorated oil massaged into them will invigorate sensitive feet. Heavy walking shoes should be immediately changed when coming indoors to secure ease for weary leet.
