The Allies demanded two hundred carriages at Larissa railway to carry troops to Macedonia. The Government replied that they were willing to supply some, but it meant that half of the rolling stock would paralyse traffic.

The Times correspondent at Dublin says the Nationalists are clearly and deliberately abstaining from encouraging recruiting. Freeman’s Journal, which Mr Redmond supposedly controls, has not printed the appial fjr the Irish division, illustrating an unprecedented confusion of affairs in Ireland.
