LYCEUM PICTURES. TO-NIGHT, TOWN HALL. i An interesting programme has , been arranged for ths evening at the Town Hall, Marton. Among the films are “Bidoni and the Lions,,” a capital comic subject in which two * tame lions play a conspicuous•; part. . Bidoni has to take charge of them, and the dffioulties he encounters are of the moat amusing character, and ■ cannot fail to arouse incessant , laughter. The star picture is “The Dandies’ Club.” John Verhyle, a member of the Dandies’ Club, asks for it’s support to obtain the < hand of the daughter of Tom Tabutas “The Wheat King.” To merit such support a member of the Club has to ; submit to certain tests, and also accomplish a difficult task —this generally being to steal some object of great value, which is immediately afterwards returned to the owner. John Verhyle is instructed to? steal a richly mounted miniature from the Wheat King’s property, and to-make the task still more difficult, Charley Golms, the great detective, is warned of the of the Wheat King’s property. John' Verhyle manages to outwit the detective, and a accused of theft, ho of course explains everything. The Wheat King instead of being angry becomes Verhyle’s friend, and subsequently permitsthe marriage to take place. !
