The Home Office has defined the lauding areas for airships, including Brighton, Margate, and the Wash and will not allow air craft to carry guns. Two days' notice must be given to a consul and 18 hours’ to the Home Office before arrival. Permits will be issued to continue voyages over .Britain at a cost of 60s for an airship and 20s for an aeroplane. The Home Office prescribes a smoke shell and a red rocket as signals of warning to aviators that they are in prohibited territory. Unless they descent, they may be fired upon and liable to half a year’s imprisonment and a fine of £2OO, also a sentence of seven years if they are engaged in espionage. Received March 6, 1 p.m. London, March 5, Geoffrey England, while monoplaning at Stonehenge, fell 5000 feet. London, March 5, England volplaned to within 600 feet of the earth and then overturned and was found dead in the wreckage.
