Cobbett, Knight's curate, states that a blank marriage certificate is missing from the church book. Received February 8, 1 p.m. London, February 7.
Suffell states that long ago Knight told her he wanted a separation, but his wife refused. She declared she would commit suicide if Grimes declined to elope as she could not stand the strait? any longer.
