Lord Musketry in the House of Lords moved for an inquiry into the administration of the Marine Department of the Board of Trad©; He accused the Department of showing gross and almost criminal neglect for the safety, of life at sea, and said vessels .were allowed to sail in an uaseaworthy state and with dangerous deckloads Lord Granard said he' thought Lord Mersey’s Titanic report did not support Lord Musketry’s strictures.
