■ Per Press Association. Dunedin, November 27. The Otago Show opened ,in line weather, but a drizzle was threatening. In sheep the only competition S wag in Romneys and Border Lei- S cesters. T. S. Little was the only exhibitor in English Leicesters, and the New Zealand and Australian Land Company sole exhibitors in ■ Lincolns. There is a splendid show O c cattle. The-executors of tne late W. Cowan won the Ayrshire cow championship, and were first in 3yaar cows, also in 2-year heifers. Mr Rankin won the aged' dry Ayrshires. In Shorthorns A. Chamberlain, Ellesmere, won the bull championship and three firsts; D. Murray, Clydevale, won in 4-year cows and 2-ycar heifers G. Ander- 1 son, Wright’s Bush, 3-year heifer and yearling. F. E. Hellyer, North East Harbour, won the Jersey cow championship. In Clydesdale entires the principal award wentto Patrick’s Ivvron Bold, Cali wafer’s Squire Ronald 2nd, Thomson’s Newtown Oi-i-.j 3rd. Baron Fyvie was not entered. In the 3-year -olds Patrick’s . Baron Sandy won.
