NOTICE OF INTENTION TO I LEVY RATES, Notice is hereby given that it is the intention of the Matamata County Council, at a Meeting to be held at the Council Chambers, Tirau on Thursday, the 15th day of July, 1943, to make and levy, under the provisions of Section 120 of the Counties Act, 1920, Section 2 of the Counties Amendment Act, 1931, and of the Rating Act, 1925, a General Rate of one penny and one-eighth of a penny in the pound on the Rateable Value of all Rateable Property in the County of Matamata, such General Rate to be included in a Consolidated Rate of two and one-eighth pence (2ld) in the pound to be collected in lieu of the following Rates:— General Rate: lid in the £. ■ Hospital Rate: 27/64d in the £. Special Rates: Conversion Loan No. 1: 5/16d in the £. Conversion Loan No. 2: 5/64d in the £. Main Roads Loan: 3/16d in the £. That the following amounts in the pound will be collected in respect of Special Recurring Rates levied to provide Interest and Principal Charges on the undermentioned Loans:— Tirau Water Supply; 3/16d. Lichfield Town Hall: l/12d. Tokoroa Memorial Hall: l/24d. Waharoa Drainage: A, 2-5/32d; B, l-31/32d; C, l-19/32d.
