Notice is hereby given that the Putaruru Town Board pursuant to its powers under the Town Boards Act 1908, the Municipal Corporations Act 1920, the' Rating Act 1925, and the Public Health Act 1908, and their respective amendments, and of all other powers enabling it in that behalf, intends at a Meeting to be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Ist June, 1933, to make and levy for the year ending 31st March 1934 the following Rate upon the Unimproved Value of all rateable property as appearing in the Valuation Roll for the time being in force for the Putaruru Town District :

(a) A General Rate of Two pence farthing; (21 d) in the £, and (b) A Uniform Annual Fee of One Pound sixteen shillings (£l/16/-) for Nightsoil, and also to collect", the following amounts for the year ending 31st March '1934 in respect of Special Annuaily-recurring Rates levied to provide Interest and Sinking Funds on Loans:— (a) Roading and Other Works Loan 1927, Two pence half penny (2id). (b) Recreation Ground and Park Loan, One farthing (id). The above Rates and Fees are to be payable to the undersigned at his Office, Henderson Street, Putaruru, in one instalment on Ist June 1933. The General and Special Rates to be subject to a Discount of 5 per cent, if all Rates, Fees and Arrears are paid within 30 days of the date fixed for payment. .
