Personal. Mrs. Blundell has returned from a holiday at Tauranga. Miss P. Withers has returned from a long stay at Takapuna. Mrs. C. W. Turner, of Te Aroha, has been the guest of Mrs. Dodson during the w T eek. Mr. S. Barton left Tirau on Tuesday for Auckland prior to sailing for Australia on the Marama. Mr. C. Shaw has returned from a visit tc Sydney. Presbyterian Church Meeting. The Presbyterian Church Central Committee held a meeting last week. The Rev. J. J. Heard presided. Representatives from all the districts attended. The business of the meeting was to discuss church finances, and in connection with this it was decided to hold a stock drive at the end of July or early in August. The stock donated will be auctioned on the regular sale days at Putaruru and Tirau.
