Arapuni.
Relief Dance. The fortnightly dance of the Arapuni Relief Association on Friday was attended by a large gathering. Mr. O. Darby supplied the music and Mr. Pat. Rodgers, in the absence of Mr. W. Webbern, acted as M.C. The programme included both old-time and modern dances, the lancers causing much fun. A Monte Carlo was won by Miss Aikman and Mr. Knox. Fkrsonal. Miss Ware is on holiday and staying with her parents at Auckland. Miss Atkinson, until recently on the staff of the Arapuni school, is staying a few days in Auckland before returning to her home in Katikati. Master Jones is at present in Arapuni spending his vacation with his parents. Mr. Nagle, who has been relieving headmaster at Arapuni school for the past term, has been transferred, and left Arapuni last week. Master lan Aikman is staying with his parents during the school holidays. Mr. O. Darby left Arapuni on Monday for a holiday in Auckland. Mrs. Higgins, of Hamilton, is at present staying with her daughter, Mrs. F. W. Brown, at Arapuni. Mr. J. Norman, of Auckland, visited Mrs. J. L. Aikman last weekend. Mrs. Sole and Mr. Jeff Sole left Arapuni last Thursday to reside in Hamilton.
