TAKOREKE HOCKEY CLUB.
The annual meeting of the above dub was held on Thursday evening last. There was a fair attendance of members, and the following officers were elected: —President, Mrs MilHams (re-elected); vice-president, Mesdames Bookman and Orsmau (re-elect-ed); captain, Miss L. Orsmau (re-elect-vice-captain, Miss R. Congdou; treasurer, Miss N. Wmith; secretary, Miss A, Orsmau. The opening day is arranged for Thursday, 17th iusl., at 3 p.m., uhen afternoon tea will be provided in the pavilion. The public arc cordially invited to be present.
