A Brutal Crime

YOUNG GIRL MURDERED Sydney, March 6. The body of a girl named Esther Porter, fourteen years of age, residing at Baystown, was found near the Punch Bowl railway station with her head battered in and other terrible injuries. The indications are that she was murdered.

The girl Porter was last seen in the viciuity of the Punch Bowl station on Monday morning, when she returned from visiting her mother at the hospital. The body was covered with bushes. It is believed she was outraged before being murdered.
