The championship athletic carnival concluded yesterday, the aggregate points scored being as follow New Zealand ... 71 New South Wales ... 5 Victoria ... ... Other States ... 0 The results decided yesterday were—--100 Yards.—Woodger, N.Z., 1; Fay, Q., 2; Ellie, V., 3. Won by half a yard in 10|secs. Mile Walk.—Kerr, N.Z., 1; Harley, N.S.W., 2; Winter, 3. Won by 75 yards in 6min 83 4'ssec. 120 Yards Hurdles. —Keddell, N.Z., 1; Maher, Q., 2; Prawley, Q., 3. Keddell won easily in 16 2-ssecs. Dickson and McKnight, New Zealand’s representatives in the mile run, did not get a place. The running high jump was won by Smith, of Sydney, who jumped sft 10 in. No New Zealanders competed. Smith, with a jump of 21ft 10in, also won the running broad jump, beating Keddell, of New Zealand, by 5£ inches. Barker, N.S.W., won the 440 yards flat, in 50 2-ssecs. No New Zealand com petitory. O’Reilly, N.S.W., won the 161 b shot competition, covering 39ft Sin.
