Following up previous convictions', Mr J. Duncan, Stock Inspector, has proceeded against three Fox ton butchers for feeding pigs on raw offal. Convictions were recorded in each instance, and deterrent fines inflicted,
Auckland, November 27
Electric trams started running to-day. Many horses were terrified at the appearance of the cars. One horse slipped and fell, and broke its rider's leg. Another horse was stopped bolting as it was entering the door of a hotel.
