Cutting down, cleaning off and burning about 9 x | chain (more or less) of gorse, manuka scrub, sweet-briar, etc., on the roadway adjoining the paddock. 8. Making new drain 9 chains (more or less), 2ft. at top, Ift. 6in. deep, Ift. at bottom (clear). 4. Cleaning about 4 chains of the old drain.
