A Gentle Warning.

Many members of the House of Commons (says an English paper) have been amused at receiving a printed document headed f > An Appeal and a Warning," and purpoting to come from woman advocates of woman's suffrage. It says that amongst their opponents are " men whose reasons for denying us equal rights with themselves may be stamped a# ignoble, Many of them, while posing as the protestors, of society and models of all virtues, are, we know men of evil minds and secretly living dissolute lives. These are the men we wish to warn. They know themselves and we know of them ; and we now solemnly declare our intention of, is due course and at the right time, publishing and laying bare before their constituents and the world their evil doings, that they may be driven from pubiic life and give place to better men.
