Regatta Meeting.

A meeting of the Committee was held at the Post Office Hotel on Saturday evening, Uv J. H. Reynolds in the chair. After discussion it was resolyed that the proposition, that the regatta be held at Moitapu be rescinded, and instead that it be ljel4 at Havelqck. The following programme was then arranged: —First-class sailing race, second-class sailing race, four-oared race, pair-oared race, sculls, women's race, bo>'d race under 15, greasy-pole, and duck-hunt, Proposed by Dr Baker, and seconded by Mf Williams, That the time allowance be half a minute to the foot or a fraction of a fooi—Carried. Resolved that the first boat in the first-class sailing race be disqualified from sailing in the second-class race. Proposed by Mr J. W. Brownlee, j and seconded by -Mr A. Passau, That! every individual competitor in the i pulling races be a subscriber of not less than 2s 6d, and the bona fide owner of each , sailing boat be a subscriber of not less that 10s to the regatta fun<s. Resolved that tfce nejtt meeting be held at the Commercial Hotel, on Saturday the 24th inst., when prizes will be arranged. Resolved, That Mr R. Hutchison, flag off the course with red flags,
