The Wool Sales.
London, November 29. At the wool sales to-day there was strong competition for new clips at current rates, but old wools were neglected. November 30. The wool sales are firm, and combining sorts arc selling at higher price 3. Sydney, December 1. The exceedingly buoyant tone of the wool market'during the week and strong competition have forced prices another fraction. 31,800 bales have been offered, of which 31,058 bales have been sold. The following are the current prices:—Greasy fleece, medium, 6fd to 7id; good, 7fd to B|d; superior, 9d to lid; lambs, superior, 8d to 9*d; crossbreds, medium, 7d to 7fd; good, 8d to Bfd; superior, 9d to 9£d; scoured, medium, to 1/0|; good, 1/1 to 1/2|'» superior, 1/8 to 1/5; washed, medium, 9d to 9|d; superior, lid to l/o£. Melbourne, December 1. At the wool sales greasy merinos are bringing up to 10.1; lambs, 1/0$; crossbreds, B|d to 9d; scoured, 1/ty to l/2|d; washed, 1/0J to 1/I±.
