TO OUR SUBSCRIBERS. We trust the result of our efforts to secure the favours of our friends will be as satisfactory to them as it is gratifying to us. In any case where it may have been impossible to personally wait on them, we express regret ; and any commands on our establishment will receive the prompt attention they merit. The charges for the Standard are : Single copies 6d. each. Subscriptions, payable in advance per quarter, 13 copies, 6s. Subscriptions, pay able in advance per annum, 52 copies, zlh. Seven shillings per quarter will be charged for the quarters subscription it not paid within a month. AU advertisements, unless specially notified to the contrary, wiU be inserted until countermanded. Our agencies at present are : Ormond: Mr. Villers, Chandos Hotel. Waerenga-a-hika : Mr. Colebrook, Wacrenga-a-hika Hotel, and Mr. Hamon. Makaraka: Mr. Dalziel, Makaraka Hotel. Matawhero : Mr. Hird, Royal Oak Hotel. Waipaoa, (or Big River): Mr. O. Goldsmith, Ferry Hotel. Tologa Bay : John Trimmer. Wairoa : 4. J. laylor. Napier: Mr. Lindsay Margoliouth, Masonic Chambers. Captains of steamers and sailing vessels will be supplied with the Standard free on application at the office.
