THE ROUMELIAN TROUBLE.

(OWN CORRESPONDENT.) London, October 12. The crisis in Turkey is causing acute excitement, resultant upon the Powers being so divided in opinion regarding the settlement of the Roumelian difficulty. The Great Powers generally oppose the claims put forward by the Governments of Greece and Servia for an extension of territory. The German Government has proposed that a notification should be made by Servia and Greece that they intend to demand an indemnity if the union of Roumeliu and Bulgaria should be aquiesced in and the union recognised by the Great Powers. The English, Russian and Austrian Governments approve of this suggestion. Constantinople, Oct. 12. The Roumelian situation is causing considerable excitement in this city; and the war party is exercising a dominant influence in the Turkish Ministry.
