The West Coast Railway.

(own correspondent.) Greymouth, Wednesday. A large public meeting was held here on Monday evening last. A resolution was passed heartily approving of the proposals of the West Coast Railway. The Borough Council last night passed a similar resolution. Hokitika, Wednesday. An enthusiastic public meeting was held here on Monday last. A resolution was passed approving of the West Coast Railway proposals. Christchurch, Wednesday. At a meeting, attended by nearly 3000 persons, and convened by the Mayor, was held on Monday night last. Resolutions were passed approving of the West Coast Railway proposals, and asking Mr Wakefield to give his hearty co-operation.
