FORTUNE OF ,cr>o,ooo LONDON, Feb. 2. Mr. Ernest Owers, who was largely responsible for the building of Hampstead, Golders Green, and Edgware, has left his old business partner, Mr. Charles Death, of Barnet, £50,000 — £IOOO for each year of their partnership. His estate is valued at £400,000 Mr. Owers started business in 1879 in a one-room office in West End lane, Kilburn, with practically no capital.
