All Races to be run under the N.Z. Rules | of Racing. Entries by telegram must be confirmed j in writing at the earliest possible moment. The Committee reserve the right to alter the order of the events on this Programme at any time prior to the date of the meeting. RULE 243 (1): By the entering of a horse for any race, every person having or | subsequently acquiring an interest in such horse shall be deemed thereby to undertake, neither directly nor indirectly, to make nny wager 'with a bookmaker in connection with such horse, or any other horse in the race for which such horse is entered. Each entry shall contain, or if it does not contain, shall he conclusively assumed to contain, such an undertaking, breach whereof, shall be deemed to be a corrupt practice within the meaning of Rule 338 hereof. NOTE: —The Club will make an allowance of £4 on any horse from Hawke’s Bay and Auckland Districts and £2 on nny horse from Wairoa or Opotlki, starting at the meeting. H. E. DODD, Secretary.
