(Herald Correspondent.) Mr. and Mrs. P. Smith left for Napier on Friday to visit their son, Bobby, who is an inmate of the Napier Hospital. There is a plague of chain letters at present and several people have received five to six in one week. One person who was asked to write nine copies to send them to her friends was disappointed when after posting the nine desired copies she found that she was the recipient of another four chain letters.
