COUNTER BY DEFENDERS BAYONET CHARGE ON HILL TOLL OF BOMBING RAIDS MISSION STATION HIT (Elec. Tel. Copyright—United Press Assn.) (Reed. March 20, 9 a.m.) LONDON, March 18. A Chungking message states that Chinese aircraft homibed and machinegunned Japanese -on the western side of Poyang Lake. On the east side the Japanese occupied Tachi Hill, two miles west of Tuchang. The Chinese claim to have regained the hill as a result of a bayonet charge. A Shanghai message states that 200 Chinese casualties are reported as a result of a Lomibing raid, in which the American Southern Baptist Mission Hospital and refugee camp at Chengchow were struck. The Methodist Mission Society has been advised that the Rev. A. G. Leigh, formerly of London, was killed in a Japanese air raid on Pingkiang on Wednesday.
