FINAL DAY AT ELLERSLIE VALAMITO’S MEMORIAL (LAV SON’S VICTORY BACHELOR KING’S “SIX” (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, this day. The track was hard and the weather fine for the final day of the Auckland Racing Club’s summer meeting at Ellerslie. The attendance was IC,OOO. The totalisator handled £59,045 against £G4,962 on the fourth day last year, a decrease of £5917. The total for the four days was £319,502, against £293,001 10s, an increase of £21,440 10s.
