TE KARAKA CLUB INTERESTING! PL A Y (Herald Correspondent.) The To Karaka bowling green was well patronised last week-end, when the fast greens, combined with a tricky side wind, made play very interesting. The club competitions were advanced a further stage and there were many exciting games, an extra head being played on three occasions to Obtain a clear-cut decision.

Details of the games were:—■ Championship Singles.—McGrannachan 15 v. Lougher 13; Lougher 19 v. Clayden 17: McGrasmachan 19 v. Luttrell 12; Luttrell 21 v. Clayden 8. Colts’ Singles.—Luttrell 20 v. Craill 8; Craill 19 \ T . Green 19, an extra head running out in favour of Craill, 20 —19.

Club Games.—Clayden and McGrannachan 27 v. Luttrell and Hodgson 17.

Roosters’ Competition.—A. Buckingham and Hodgson 21 v. Luttrell and Lougher 12; Hodgson and Lougher 22 v. Clayden and Greggan 19.

Other Games. —(Luttrell and Lougher 12 v. Manuel and McGrannachan It; Manuel and A. Buckingham 19 v. Clayden and Lougher 19, an extra head'bcing in favour of Buckingham, 21—19; Clayden, McGrannachan and A. Buckingham 20 v. Craill. Luttrell and Lougher 20, an extra head being infavour of Buckingham’s rink, 21—20.
