SECOND DAY’S EVENTS WIN FOR GERFALCON (Per Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, this day. The Canterbury Park Trotting Club’s meeting was continued to-day in fine, warm weather. The track was fast, There was a large attendance. Results:— Progressive Handicap, of £2OO (3.42), li miles. —1-1 Gerfalcon, 36yds (H. Holmes), 1; 3-4 Syntax, 36yds (T. Cleeson), 2: 5-3 Shadeland, 12y.ds„ (D. Bennett). 3. All started. Won by two length; half a lraigth. Times. 3.20 3-5, 3.21. 3.23 1-5.
