NEW HOMES FOR JEWS

CHINA AND JAPAN CROWDED ITALIAN SHIPS (Reed. Nov. 3, 9 a.m.) LONDON. Nov. 2. The Trieste correspondent of The Times says that Italian Far Eastern liners, now sailing regularly, are crowded with Austrian Jews bound for Colombo, Manila, Hongkong and Shanghai. Some are travelling as far as Kobe, where big Western firms are understood to have offered them employment.

No restrictions hitherto have been placed on Jewish emigration by Middle Eastern and Far Eastern Governments. Even crowded countries like Japan do not deny them hospitality.
