“In many countries of Europe I here is no well-informed body ol public opinion because there is a Stale censorship of newspapers," said Professor R. M. Algie, Professor of Law at Auckland University College, in a lecture under the auspices of the Workers’ Educational Association. He said that public opinion must be allowed to develop and newspapers, good or bad, must be free.
