LAND RESCUE PLAN
FLYERS IN SUDAN GENERAL AND WIFE (Elec. Tel. Copyright—United Press Assn.) (Reed. Oct. 14, 10 a.m.) KHARTOUM, Oct. 13. It is now established that Brigadier General Arthur Corrie Lewin and his wife, who were missing on a flight in the Nile Valley, came down near Malakal, in the Sudan, where they were located yesterday by an Imperial Airways’ plane, which dropped food for them. A motor car rescue is being organised as it is impossible for a plane to land.
