ORMOND NEWS
(Humid Correspondent.) Mrs. A. Parsons, Ormond, who will celebrate her seventy-ninth birthday to-morrow, left recently by ’plane Tor Napier on a visit to relatives at Hastings, Dannevirke and Bulls. Mr. A. Spellers, who recently met with a ’motor accident at Whatatutu, sustaining leg injuries, is now making a good recovery. The Presbyterian Ladies’ Guild has been working hard in preparation of its annual garden party and sale of work to be held at the Ormond Tea Gardens on Saturday.
