POET OF GISBORNE arrivals Thursday. October 11 Margaret W., m.v., 7.50 mm. 391 tons, .1. U. Owen, from Auckland. Pakura, m.v., 8.30 u.m., 719 tons, C. W. Coldicull, from Waikokopu.

The .Wainui, which is loading for 'Napier and Gisborne, was expected to leave Timaru yesterday, Lylie 11 on today, thence Wellington. She should arrive til Gisborne again about Wednesday, October 20. The Pukeko arrived at Gisborne about noon to-day front Auckland, via Coast bays. After discharging general cargo from Auckland ana cement from Portland she sails to-night for Napier. The Pakura reached Gisborne at 8.50 a.nt. to-day from Lyttelton. Wellington. Napier and Waikokopu. On completion of discharge and loading about 4 p.m. the ship is to sail for Wellington, where she is due on Saturday to load for Napier and Gisborne. The Margaret W. arrived at Gisborne at 7.50 a.m. to-day from Auckland. It is hoped to dispatch the vessel to-night for Tolaga Bay, Tokomaru Bav and Auckland. The ICalingo (Captain J. E. Warwick). is expected to leave Napier today for Gisborne, where she is due tomorrow morning to discharge. The Alexander left C.reymoutli at 11 p.m. on Tuesday with posts for Gisborne, where site is due to-mor-row to discharge. The Mahana clears Napier to-night for Gisborne and she is to commence loading here to-morrow morning. From Gisborne the ship proceeds to Auckland to complete and she is expected to clear Auckland on October •>g for London, Avonmouth. Liverpool and Glasgow, going Home by way or Cape Horn. The first of three ships chartered annually bv G. H. Scales, Limited, lo load wool in New Zealand waters fot England and lhe Continent, will be this year the Ben Line steamer Benarty. The Benarty is due at Townsville from the East early in December to load a part-cargo of concentrates, thence to Port Kombla to bunker before coining to New Zealand. She will first call at Pic ton on December 12 and after visiting various other New Zealand ports will leave Port Chalmers about January 5 for Dunkirk, London and Antwerp.
