EXTE NSION I’I; A NNEI) (Per Press Association.) NAPIER, this day. The Minister of Railways, the Hon. D. G. Sullivan, has announced that rail cars will be introduced on the following railway sections as soon as the construction of the cars is completed:— North Island.—Wellington-Napier and Wairoa-Gisborno lines, between Wanganui and Marion, between Wellington and Palmerston North, on the Palmerston North-Waipukurau-N a pier route, Taneatua-Tauranga-Paeroa line and the section between Franklon Junction and Ohakune. These services would be additional to those already announced as being provided lor. South Island—On the ChristchurchWaiau and Christchurch-Parnassus lines, the Dunedin-Sea cl iff line between Christchurch, Grcymouth and Hokitika, and the Otago Central line between Dunedin and Cromwell. Several services would also be provided in the Southland district for use between Invercargill, Lumsden, Kingston and Gore.
