Favoured by fine weather and with the greens playing well, bowlers had an enjoyable afternoon's sport on the Kabutia club's green on Saturday. The principal games were in connection with the Dan Harry Fours competition, which has now reached the final stage. Power's rink narrowly missed _ winning the competition outright on Saturday, losing their game with Kotnwell s rink. This is Power's second loss, so the deciding match to be played at 1.4 c» p.m. next Saturday will be between Power and Lane's rinks, the latter team also having had two losses. Some fine bowling was witnessed during Saturday's games, especially_in the Power v. Rothwell match.. lie teams drew level at 17-all, but on the succeeding head Power scored seven and it seemed as if lie was going to put the issue beyond all doubt. However, after three more heads Rothwell again evened the scores and went on to establish a lead of three points.—Rothwell 24, Power 21. .
