The extensive use of Ncw r Zealand dairy produce in the staff canteens at English motor ear manufacturing works was mentioned by J)lr. F. 11. Lefller, factory representative for Australia and New Zealand of Joseph Lucas. Limited, who arrived at Auckland recently. He said that in his company’s factory in Birmingham where there were 20,000 employees, the use of New Zealand produce represented an effort to encourage die stall to advance reciprocal trade. He added that motor ear construction had not been affected by the manufacture of armaments, which was done in different factories.
