Ihe, I arhamentary delegation presented a. resolution passed at a caucus of tho Opposition party affirming confidence m tlie Lt. Hon' G. W. Forbes as Tea tier. However, the official statement approved by the council makes it clear that the party as a new party has the right to doc i s leader and intends to exercise that right, irrespective of the caucus resolution. There is reason to believe, that a gte. majority of the Opposition members in Parliament will abide by Die decision of the party as a whole. 1,, ;« also stated that, at the meeting to-dav. opinion was freely expressed that the new loader should be a man who has not. so far, led a political party.
