DISPUTED CONDITIONS CASE FOR ARBITRATION (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, last night. No agreement, was reached on the clauses relating to hours of work, wages and holidays it! the Conciliation Council proceedings in the soft goods warehousemen’.s dispute which wore continued in Wellington to-day. it was decided to refer these matters to the Arbitration Court. The employers offered to accede to up to £4 15s as a minimum for senior male employees, but this was: not acceptable to the employees, who were prepared to .make a settlement upon 1h basis of £5. An agreement was reached on the interpretation of the clnu.so dealing with overtime rates and tea money and certain machinery clauses.
